Will the x2 be getting anymore updates?

Short answer NO. Long answer NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. It was last updated May 2012. Pretty sure it is on the unsupported list for many months now as far as updates go.

My DX2 has the 2.3.5 upgrade downloaded but I dont want to install it. Where can I find that file to delete it. I want to stay with the 2.3.4 GB.

Don't have to be rooted to delete it, wipe cache in stock recovery. But, it will continue to bug you to download the update unless you root and disable it.
